Server update: Move a task to another list, sharing facilitation and a bit more

Hello, Monday update is here - not huge, not breathtaking (we’re working on it) but still bringing a handful of useful features and enhancements:

  • mm - move a task or node to another list. Select a task (or a node) and press the mm shortcut. Then select a list you want to move the task to (do not forget to search-as-you-type to shorten a long list on the fly).
  • Mark extracted lists with a list icon. Now a node that you extract as a separate list will be marked with an icon, so such “extracted” links are clearly distinguishable from other hyperlinks.
  • List sharing facilitation If you enter e-mail address of an existing Checkvist user in the share dialog, this user will be added to collaborators immediately, there will be no invitation. Just a notification about the new available list.

These were enhancements. But there’s also a small feature reduction: those who work on Windows platform can’t use CTRL to view list item details anymore. Instead, you can toggle “show/hide details” mode with the sd shortcut or select this option in the Options (oo) menu. (This happened due to the incorrect processing of the keydown event for Ctrl key in most Windows browsers and unfortunately is not in our powers to change.) Sorry for the inconvenience and a new shortcut :)

As always, looking forward to your comments, emails, ideas and suggestions!
