Helping people easily create, share, and collaborate on task lists and outlines

Export all lists, sort tasks, quick search and other features

This server update brings several features that you’ve been requesting for quite a while:

Export all: export all your lists to create full back-up of your data (a set of zipped OPML files, one per list). It’s not that we’re going to leave you in any forseeable future, but collaboration is collaboration. Sometimes your original outline will look absolutely different. Be prepared and make yourself a copy :) The feature is available for PRO users only.

Import improvements:

  • an option to replace existing list content (including title) if you restore it from an OPML file;
  • context import: imported tasks are placed under the currently selected task;
  • if no task is selected, the imported items are added to the beginning of the list;
  • given that import is now contextual, we’ve added import action to the task actions menu;

Bookmarklet:

  • all items are now added to the beginning of the list;
  • fixed bug with Gmail integration;
Task sorting: sort tasks by due date or by color. Sorting changes actual order of the tasks and is visible to all collaborators. Press ss to invoke the dialog anywhere in the interface

Move completed tasks down: another way to organize and clean-up your outlines. When the option is checked, all completed tasks will sink down their hierarchies.

Speed search in the list pop-up: very handy tool when you want to switch to a specific checklist. Press LL to open the list. Start typing to filter the list — only the matching lists will appear in the pop-up:

Bug fixes:

  • we’ve fixed the due date dialog presentation in Internet Explorer;
  • made the Due tasks page printable;
  • added AJAX update for the Due tasks counter;
  • in embedded checklists links open in the new browser window;

As usual, we are looking forward to your feedback and ideas.
