Helping people easily create, share, and collaborate on task lists and outlines

Mar 31, 2010 9:45pm

Fixes, improvements, and Firefox sidebar

Recently we made several rather noteworthy fixes:

  • Chrome extension: scroll bar for long pages is now visible (thanks a lot to Luka Kladaric, the extension author. Please, update your current Checkvist extension to the version 1.0.2 (you can do it under the Extensions menu of your Chrome browser)
  • Notification improvement: we now merge several consecutive changes if they are done by the same user to the same list item. E.g. when you create a new task and then edit it, we send notification about the task creation with the final text.
  • List sharing notifications when someone accepts your invitation, the notification is sent to you, not the list owner as before.
  • Checklist pop-up (LL) is updated immediately after the list extraction or creation.
  • Window title is updated immediately after the list creation or rename.
  • Fixed YouTrack to Checkvist integration in the bookmarklet.
  • Tools and Extensions section of your profile now lists them in a more readable and detailed way.
With a couple of little tweaks you can use Checkvist in the Firefox sidebar:
  1. Bookmark http://checkvist.com/iframe.html (or any particular list, by adding ?/checklists/list_id after /iframe.html)
  2. In the bookmark properties select checkbox “Load this bookmark in the sidebar”
  3. Click the bookmark and enjoy your lists (all keyboard shortcuts working) in the Firefox sidebar.
Thanks a lot to everyone sharing their feedback and bug reports!
